From a checklist to the LC
Agree required documents and issuers before drafting field 46A. Review additional conditions separately under field 47A and identify the documentary evidence, if any, intended to demonstrate compliance. Use the issuing bank’s current SWIFT message specifications when preparing the actual message.
Example: FCA with an LC
If the exporter hands over containers at a terminal but the credit requires on-board ocean evidence, agree the carrier instruction and document-delivery process before shipment. A checklist cannot compel the carrier to issue a document or repair an unworkable sales contract.
Scope
The output is a generic preparation aid. It does not examine uploaded documents, certify a complying presentation, determine product permits or establish Bangladesh payment eligibility. Add transaction-specific requirements from the credit, contract, applicable rules and effective regulation.
Privacy
This tool makes no network requests and keeps selections in page memory. It does not collect identity, account or transaction data.
