Which September 2026 amendments apply?

The 8 September notification removes paragraph 25(12). A further notification dated 20 September and published 24 September modifies specific provisions including insurance documents, export-oriented textile and back-to-back arrangements, salt imports, capital machinery and spare parts. Does IPO 2026–29 automatically permit imports without an LC?

Paragraph 6(3) addresses contract-based imports without an LC. The importer must also comply with Bangladesh Bank foreign-exchange and AD-bank requirements, product restrictions, and any applicable approvals. Why does another website show IPO 2026–2029 with different page numbers?
