Use an eight-digit Bangladesh HS code to open the official Customs product page. That page connects product requirements with documents, measures and agencies. Review the resulting description and current legal source before applying a requirement.

How to use these guides
Keep a transaction folder with the confirmed HS description, applicable legal provisions, permits and validity dates, contract, bank instructions, customs documents and settlement evidence. Record who owns each outstanding action and its due date in Project Management.
The guides adapt BTP’s complete seven-page import-procedure document and five-page exporter guide, plus the export-process provisions of Export Policy 2024–2027. Each article includes a topic-coverage table and links to its source documents. They use newer issuing-authority sources where available instead of copying historical guide deadlines or fees. Product-specific permit-to-department mapping still requires a verified rule for the particular goods; the directory does not claim automatic permit determination.
Source currency check · 20 October 2026
Mixed source currency. The linked 2026 BB circulars are the base references reviewed, with route-specific amendments checked separately. BTP’s historical procedure PDFs are excluded from current rule instructions. BSW and CCI&E links are service gateways; their availability does not verify every form version or product permission. A recent crawl date does not establish that a legal requirement is current.

Some Customs checklists still cite the older Import Policy Order. Use them for document planning alongside the current Order and amendments. BSW manuals describe application screens; they do not determine legal eligibility. Historical BTP guides are not used as current deadlines or fee schedules.
